"What a gem, right here in Brackenfell! Our crochet group went dmfor breakfast and our usual once a week get together and had a great time. The restaurant is beautiful and welcoming . Chantelle is a fantastic hostess,and looks after everyone personally. We had different dishes, (waffle stack is so delicious),and all enjoyed their food and immediately decided it has to become one of our regular spots. Prices are very reasonable, really worth a visit!"

"LOVE Maddi's, but once again so much truth in the statement that PEOPLE make a PLACE. I love this little gem, because I pop in every Saturday morning pre-hair do next door at the hair salon. PATRICIA of Maddi's (the chef), is always at work early early, and normally sees me arrive so by the time I get into Maddi's to order, she has already made me my Cuppachino, just as i like it, waiting on the counter. Truly this lady is the heart of Maddi's - I am honestly not a fan of the servers (who alternate), which is why I am not often a sit-down client. However, I can HIGHLY recommend Patricia's food - I treated myself last weekend to TWO savoury pancakes (mince and chicken mayo) with a side salad - and it was SO NICE - flavourful, tasty as heck, and the salad made JUST the way I like , ingredients cut into smallish pieces, and drizzled with a to die for tasty dressing. Patricia basically runs this little coffee shop with the passion and flair usually displayed when one is the owner...and she is the chef....I mean wow, just wow!! This lady needs some major recognition. Patricia, I appreciate you...thank you! I am sure in this regard I am the voice of many....."

"We visited Maddi's cafe very early, so the restaurant itself was quiet. I quite enjoyed it as it felt like we had our own private restaurant. If you like a place with a busy vibe; this is not your spot. The waiter was very attentive, but a little unsure. We guessed he was probably still learning the ropes, but we felt he did a good job. We had an eggs benedict and a burger. The food was great. The establishment is well priced; so I do feel you get more than you pay for. The drinks were OK. We didn't have any issues."
